The SPACE Bus, utilised by Yorkshire Create, serves as a dynamic, mobile venue for a youth club. Outfitted with gaming consoles, sports equipment, and a mini-cinema, the bus provides young people with a unique space to gather, relax, and engage in fun activities in a safe, supervised setting.

 

The youth club offers a variety of fun, hands-on workshops and classes, including specialist workshops across a range art forms (including drama, singing, painting, creative writing, pottery painting and more), as well as an arts-based games club supported by Warhammer Alliance.

 

To make the experience even more welcoming, the bus provides snacks and refreshments, creating a true “club-like” atmosphere, we even provide fully cooked home meals. The mini-cinema setup further enhances the space, allowing for movie nights or special screenings, fostering a sense of community and providing a much-needed venue for relaxation and entertainment.

 

By bringing the youth club directly to neighborhoods, the North Yorkshire Youth Team ensures accessibility for young people who may face transportation barriers, making it easier for them to participate. This innovative, mobile venue creates a safe, inclusive space that encourages personal growth, social interaction, and healthy recreation right in the heart of their communities.
